Advertisement for BidsSealed bids for the construction of the Water Service Line Replacement Project for the Magna Water District, Utah, will be received until 03:30 PM local time on 27th day of August, 2025 at the Magna Water District, 8885 West 3500 South, Magna, UT 84044, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Work shall be completed under one Contract and consists of all labor, skill and materials required to properly construct the Project. The Project generally consists of the following primary components: Removal and replacement of 69 service lines as shown in the Project Drawings. Work will include excavation of water service lines in public right-of-way and private property, as well as in-home plumbing and repair work.
PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held for all prospective Bidders at the 8885 West 3500 South, Magna, UT, 84044 on Wednesday, August 7th, 2025 at 3:30 PM, at which time the Owner's Representative, Bidders, and Subcontractors will discuss the project. Bidders are required to attend the pre-bid conference.
BIDDING REQUIREMENTS: Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bidder’s Bond executed by the Bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Utah, payable to the Magna Water District, in a sum equal to five (5) percent of the full amount of the Bid. This is to serve as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a Contract within 15 days of Notice of Award in accordance with the terms of the principal’s Bond and a contractor’s Bond as required by law and the regulations and determinations of the governing board for the performances of such Work. Only Bids that are accompanied by such a Bond will be considered. Bidder must be licensed for the full amount of the Bid. No Bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to bond and license.
OBTAINING BID DOCUMENTS: Electronic copies of Contract Documents may be requested for and obtained at no cost by emailing Stockton Denos at [email protected].
Hard copies of Contract Documents may be obtained at the office of the Engineer, Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, LLC (AE2S), 3400 N. Ashton Blvd Ste 105, Lehi, UT 84043, beginning July 28th, 2025 at 2:00 PM, upon payment of $50.00 (non-refundable) for each set of Contract Documents (including specifications and reduced drawings). The scale of reduced drawings are about one-half of the original scale. If full-scale drawings are desired, they may be purchased at reproduction cost (non-refundable) from the Engineer.
OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: All Bids will be made on the basis of cash payment for such Work. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any informalities in the Bids received, and further reserves the right to award the Contract in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to hold the three (3) lowest Bids for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days after the date of Bid opening.
